Hi there mama!

I am Ellen, a mum of one (pictured here in my belly).
I am truly honoured to be taking you through this prenatal series.
I have been a yoga teacher for a few years now and from day one of my 200 YTT I was drawn to the energy of the practice that was dedicated to honouring women.
We were trying for our little babe for 18 months in which time I completed my Pre &
Post natal Yoga Teacher Training. It was truly the most transformative time in my life as I had to surrender into honouring women experiencing something I was so excited to bring into my own life. When I did eventually fall pregnant I had to learn how to surrender into this new chapter of life. Exercise can often feel overwhelming during pregnancy so I wanted to create a series that felt like a safe place for you to visit as many times as you want during your pregnancy. This is a safe space for your to explore your body, connect with yourself and most importantly honour this transformative journey that you are on.

What you’ll learn

  • There is nothing more powerful and comforting than taking active time to connect with your own beautiful body and baby. We can often just “keep going” and live life day to day without truly stopping and recognising how AMAZING you are and how INCREDIBLE your body is. These classes are designed as an opportunity for you to stop and connect with all elements of your body and baby.

  • Pregnancy, birth and labour are all totally unpredictable, hence why we practice the feeling of “surrendering”. Even though we learn to surrender, it is so powerful to have a Tool Box of techniques and mindsets to carry into your pregnancy and birth. These techniques can range from breathing practices, active birth positions and mindsets that can help you release fear and invite confidence.

  • The magic of breath is something we have to learn, so don’t feel fearful if this is new to you. Connecting with your breath is transformative in pregnancy and birth. It will allow you to go inwards and truly be present with your own amazing self.

Course FAQ

  • This prenatal series is suitable from 12–40+ weeks of pregnancy and can be started at any stage during this period. If you are experiencing any complications in your pregnancy it is beneficial to check in with your practicioner. As always listen to your own amazing body and baby as we are all different.

  • You do not need to have practiced yoga regularly before joining this series. It is a beautiful and gentle entry into your yoga practice with options to take is a little deeper if it feels right for your body or keep it at a slower pace if that is what you are craving.

  • Each class starts with a short intention and breath work followed by a series of mindful movements and sequences and finally finishing with a deep relaxation.

  • SO MANY!
    There are so many benefits associated with yoga and pregnancy, including helping you to stay strong, healthy and of course reduce pain in a safe way incorporating mindful movement.
